Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 7:00-9:30pm at the St. David's Episcopal Church (14 Jamar Dr, Fayetteville, NY 13066). Rehearsals for upcoming concerts start roughly eight weeks prior to the performance. The rehearsal schedule is sent out to members once performances are scheduled.
$50 is collected each year in the season upon which you start. The option of paying $25 for the fall/winter and $25 for the spring/summer seasons is also available. Full time student rate is 50% off. Dues can be paid in person with cash or check (made to Syracuse Pops Chorus), or online.
Men: Must have a long-sleeved button-down black shirt, black dress pants, black shoes and socks. White shirts may be required for summer concerts. Matching chorus ties will be provided.
Women: Must have 3/4 sleeve or long sleeve black top, black pants or floor length black skirt/dress and black shoes. White tops may be required for summer concerts. Matching chorus scarves will be provided.
Each member must have their own music and folder for all rehearsals and performances. Matching black choral folders can be purchased for $10 if members do not have one already. Scores may be sent to members as a PDF to print from home. Printed scores are also available at an additional cost at the first few rehearsals for an upcoming performance. If scores are purchased by Syracuse Pops Chorus, they must be returned following the concert.
